Skupinová performance Artifa představuje originální apropriaci prvků fandění a skandování, typických pro fotbalové hooligans, kteří těmito prostředky vyjadřují podporu svým klubům. V tomto performativním díle jsme se prostřednictvím energického skandování a rytmického bubnování pokusili obrátit pozornost k hodnotám, jež jsou v kontrastu s obvyklou dynamikou ultras scén – především k myšlence otevřené kultury přístupné všem.
Zatímco energie a intenzita, kterou ultras skupiny často vyzařují, bývá spojována s rivalitou a exkluzivitou, naše performance se snažila zdůraznit ideály nesoutěživosti, rovnosti a solidarity. Publikum se aktivně zapojovalo do skandování hesel, jež tematizovala inkluzivní kulturní přístup, například „umění není soutěž“ či „otevřená kultura“. Tento projekt tak nabídl prostor pro reinterpretaci kolektivní energie, která v sobě místo rozdělení a soupeření nese potenciál propojování a sdílení.

The group performance Artifa presents a unique appropriation of cheering and chanting elements, typically associated with football hooligans who use these methods to show support for their clubs. In this performative work, we used energetic chanting and rhythmic drumming to shift attention toward values that contrast with the usual dynamics of the ultras scene—most notably, the idea of an open culture accessible to all.
While the energy and intensity often radiated by ultras groups are linked to rivalry and exclusivity, our performance aimed to highlight ideals of non-competitiveness, equality, and solidarity. The audience actively participated in chanting slogans that emphasized an inclusive cultural approach, such as "Art is not a competition" and "Open culture".
This project thus created a space for reinterpreting collective energy—not as a force of division and competition, but as one of connection and shared experience.
